We build our play equipment from Robinia wood which is sourced from sustainable forestry. Spielart GmbH is since 2015 FSC^® – Chain of Custody certified (FSC-C128278).

Agreement of Sustainability Thuringia

We take an active part on the network for sustainable management, due to our voluntary performance according to the agreement of sustainability of Turingia

• We have two photovoltaic systems. With the gained energy, we can cover our electricity demand up to 90%
• For the production of our products we almost handle with renewable raw materials. From the waste material we produce wood pellets which we use for the heating and warm water production for our three production halls

Spielart provides to the region:

• Financial support of local events (e.g. church events, village events)
• Organisation of events for children (e.g. paint lanterns)
• Maintenance and expansion of the park (people can use it to relax and enjoy)
• Support of local schools and kindergarden by sponsoring timber play and financial support for construction measures
